Bollywood actress Swara Basker wears her heart on her sleeve whenever it comes to raising the voice against the wrong. Recently, the actress is hitting the headlines for getting trolled by Twitterati over her 15-year-old in 2010 remark. During an interview with Hindustan Shikhar Samagam, she got into a heated argument with a senior journalist Rubika Liyaqat over her political views and in heat of the argument, he did a major goof-up in regards to her age.

During an interview, the actress was accused of not being aware of the facts and intentionally pitting Muslims against the Indian government and this irked Swara. And when the reporter asked her of doing activism from past 15 years and when NPR was collected in 2010 she didn't have a problem then then why now. In response to this Swara said, “No I am not running any activism for 15 years, in fact, in 2010 she was 15-years-old.

As soon as these words spill from her mouth the video of the same started doing rounds on all social media platforms and in no time netizens started trolling her. As per Wikipedia the actor who was born in 1988 and is 31-year-old now then how can she be 15 years old in 2010. Twitter users are mocking her for not knowing her age and are busy trending #MathematicianSwara.

One of the users wrote, “Maths Committed Suicide.”

 

Whereas another user wrote, “Swara says that she was 15 yrs old in 2010. While in 2020 she is 31 yrs old. She grew 16 yr older in last 10 yrs”

Earlier, in December 2019, Swara was in the news after she expresses solidarity with the anti-India protesters at Shaheen Bagh in Delhi. The actress was also joined by Sharjeel Imam, the mastermind of the Shaheen Bagh protest.
