Sushant Death Case: From NCB grilling Rhea Chakraborty to actress’ complaint against sister Priyanka; timeline of probe day 17

On day 17 (7 September) of investigation, NCB grilled Rhea Chakraborty for the second consecutive day regarding Sushant death case and an alleged drug angle. As per Republic reports, during interrogation Jalebi actress confessed on meeting Basit Parihar, who is currently in NCB’s custody. She further told that she used to buy drugs for Sushant and have never consumed it rather she does smoke cigarettes.
Meanwhile, she also filed a forgery complaint against Sushant’s sister Priyanka over ‘bogus’ medical prescription.

9:33 am:- Rhea Chakraborty reaches NCB office
10:03 am:- NCB arrests Anuj Keswani for alleged drug peddling. His name was revealed during the interrogation of Kaizen Ibrahim.

2:58 pm:- Reports: Rhea denies taking drugs in cigarettes
3:27 pm:- “Rhea Chakraborty files a complaint before the Mumbai Police against SSR’s sister Priyanka Singh, Dr Tarun Kumar of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and others for offences of Forgery, NDPS Act and Tele Medicine Practice Guidelines 2020 for having sent a bogus medical prescription.
3:43 pm:- NCB likely to examine Showik and Rhea’s call data records and their connection with Anuj Keshwani.
Rhea Chakraborty's complaint further states that the "drugs prescribed by the doctor (Dr Tarun Kumar) were prohibited from being prescribed electronically under the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020."
