Sultan: Why are Salman Khan & Anushka Sharma heading to Muzaffarnagar?

Major portions of the upcoming Eid release, Sultan - starring Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma have been shot at a studio in Mumbai. As the shooting of Ali Abbas Zafar directorial nears its completion, the makers have planned to wrap up the shoot with outdoor schedule.

Salman and Anushka are currently shooting for a few wrestling and victory sequences at an indoor stadium in Delhi after which the team will fly to Meerut. Director Ali Abbas Zafar has planned a 10-12 day shooting schedule at the site of the Muzaffarnagar riots.

Speaking about the Meerut schedule, Madan Chauhan, the minister of state for entertainment tax told Telegraph, "Salman and the film crew will camp in Meerut and shoot their movie in Muzaffarnagar from 19 April. Our job is to ensure enough security for him and his team. We have asked the officers to take every possible measure for hurdle-free shooting," 

The shooting of Sultan will be wrapped up with a final three-day song schedule in Punjab. The song, choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant, is reported to be a fun dance number titled 440 Volt that will be picturised on Salman and Anushka.

The teaser of Sultan has already garnered over 5 million views and over 66,000 likes in just two days of being released on the YRF's YouTube channel. 

The wrestling drama is set to hit the big screen this Eid.
