Sridevi’s Mom to release with Shraddha Kapoor’s Haseena

Sridevi’s upcoming film is set to release on same day as Shraddha’s film

 There has been a lot of buzz about Sridevi’s film Mom, post she made her powerful comeback in English Vinglish in 2012. Mom is produced by Boney Kapoor and is directed by Ravi Udyavar. It is a story of mother and her relationship with her children. It stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Akshaye Khanna. Two Pakistani actors Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui will be making their debut in the film, playing Sridevi’s kids.

 Salman Khan paid a special tribute to Sridevi at Zee Cine Awards and launched the first poster of the film, stating that she is a bigger stars than all the Khans in the industry. The makers have announced the release date of the film on July 14.

 On the other hand, Shraddha Kapoor has recently wrapped up shooting for her biopic on Dawood Ibraham’s sister Haseena. Her real brother Siddhant Kapoor will be essaying the role of Dawood in the film and it has been directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The makers of Haseena had released the poster of the film couple of months ago and declare the release date much in advance than Mom.

 Meanwhile there is a buzz that Saif Ali Khan’s Chef too is slated to release on same day.
