Sridevi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui will promote their film separately?

Apparently Sridevi and Nawaz will not be promoting Mom together
Sridevi's upcoming film Mom features Nawazuddin Siddiqui in an important role. The actress has recently started promotions for the film which is set to release on July 7. A source says, " Sridevi will be seen promoting the film alone , while for Nawaz there will be a different strategy for promotions. His character is different so we don't want the two actors promoting it together at the same time. Moreover, we have limited artists promoting this film as Pakistani actors Sajal Ali who plays Sridevi's daughter and Adnan Siddiqui,her husband will not be able to promote it, due to ongoing tension between India -Pakistan."
The film stars Akshay Khanna too and so far he has not started promotions. The makers released a separate poster for Nawaz and he then started the promotional activities alone. Sridevi too has made appearance on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and has began promotions with media interaction. It is also said that one of the reasons for this is that both Nawaz and Sridevi are playing powerful characters so the crew doesn't want them to overshadow each other as far as promotions are concerned.
Reportedly Mom's plot is similar to that of Raveena Tandon's recently released film Maatr.
