Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar in Veerey Di Shaadi. Will Anushka Sharma sign up?

Sonam Kapoor, who won over the audience with her performance in Neerja, is now set to star in a chick-flick directed by Khoobsurat director, Shashanka Ghosh. Tentatively titled Veerey Di Shaadi, the film is an official Indian adaptation of the Hollywood drama, The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants.

The story revolve around four girls who go on a crazy trip to find true love. Reportedly, Swara Bhaskar, who last shared screen space with Sonam Kapoor in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, has been approached for one of the four characters in the film and the actress instantly agreed.

The film will showcase the girls' journey from Delhi to Europe, where they find true love. It is currently in the pre-production stage with the director and his team on a recce to finalise locations across the globe.

The casting is in progress as well. The makers are keen to sign two A-List actresses and are reportedly in talks with Anushka Sharma for one of the two characters.
