Sonam Kapoor prefers being known as an actor more than a fashionista

Sonam is apparently willing to be applauded for her acting chops than her fashion choices

 Sonam Kapoor’s last release Neerja a biopic of airhostess who lost her life while saving lives of passengers from hijackers. The film did well and Sonam received lot of appreciation for her role. The actress has bagged couple of honours too and if sources are to believed then she wishes to be known as an actor now. A source says, “Post Neerja, Sonam has been getting good offers, she is concentrating more on her films. So when recently she went abroad and one of media person called her fashion fiesta she said to have corrected them.”

 The actress has always been praised for her fashion sense both in India and abroad and was invited for some international shows by some known designers. A source says, “Sonam loves fashion. She makes extra efforts on her look. However she is primarily an actor and that is why she feels people should know her as actress.”

 Sonam will be next seen in Sanjay Dutt biopic which stars Ranbir Kapoor as Dutt, Padman with Akshay Kumar and her home production Veere Di Wedding, featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.
