Kapoor and Sons Box Office: Sidharth - Alia film is already the third biggest hit of 2016
Kapoor and Sons continued its good run at the Box Office as the film raked in over Rs 46 crore in its opening week.
Despite facing stiff competition from the World Cup matches, the Sidharth Malhotra - Alia Bhatt - Fawad Khan film continued to trend well at the ticket window and is now the third clean hit of 2016 after Airlift (Rs 128 crore) and Neerja (Rs 75 crore).

Day Wise Box Office:
- Weekend: Rs 26.35 crore
- Monday: Rs 5.08 crore
- Tuesday: Rs 4.50 crore
- Wednesday: Rs 4.35 crore
- Thursday: Rs 6.65 crore
- Total: Rs 46.93 crore
The film performed exceptionally well at metros like Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru. Though the screen count of Kapoor and Sons has fallen tremendously in its second week because of Rocky Handsome and Batman V Superman, the film is unlikely to crash in its second weekend considering the positive word of mouth
