A summer-fresh colour palette of florals in blue and yellow - picked, according to card-designer Ravish Kapoor by Shahid - were accompanied by handcrafted chocolates from superb Delhi home-bakers Smitten. "The credit for colour combination goes to Shahid as he was very particular about colours. From the peacock logo to the font, everything was chosen by Shahid." (PTI)

For a Delhi wedding, the venue is no less significant than the bride and groom. And so, the Kapoor-Rajput wedding will take them to Oberoi Gurgaon, no less.
That apart, as many as 50 rooms have been blocked for the 'close guests' at Oberoi Trident. The presidential suite of the luxury hotel that is booked for the groom boasts of opulent modern art, and everything from a dining room, study, pantry, gym-cum-yoga room to an outdoor pool (as per Oberoi's official website).

The most Facebooked part of a Delhi wedding, receptions are often a gala affair with many attending.Shahid's baraatis, for instance, includes his three mothers, namely his birth mother Neelima Azim, father Pankaj Kapoor's wife Supriya Pathak and Vandana Sajnani, who is the current wife of Azim's ex-husband.Apparently, there are two wedding receptions planned for the newlyweds. The first dinner will be at The Ballroom in Oberoi Gurgaon, followed by one which is expected to be a complete Bollywood party in Mumbai.
