Shah Rukh Khan's Fan is one of the most-anticipated films of 2016. While initial reports suggested that the film would be just under two-hours long, it has now been revealed that the film has a runtime of 142 minutes. The runtime (2 hours, 22 minutes) of the film was revealed in the first print of the thriller that was sent to the censor board for film certification.

At the event held to launch the trailer of Fan, Shah Rukh Khan confirmed that the Maneesh Sharma-directorial did not have any songs. He also said that the 'Jabra Fan' song was merely a promotional track.
