Shah Rukh Khan's Fan is one of the most-awaited films of 2016 along with Housefull 3, Sultan, Raees, Dangal and Mohenjo Daro. Of these, Fan is the only one which will release in the first half of 2016.

In all probability, the Maneesh Sharma-directorial is set to be the widest release, among all films in the first half of 2016.

Reportedly, YRF has already started booking screens for the film and considering the fact that it has a solo release on 15 April, the production house is going all out. While the film will have a record breaking screen count at SRK dominated territories like West Bengal, Mysore, and Delhi, YRF is looking for a reasonable release even in other circuits.
