Secret Superstar goes on floors with Aamir Khan; film to release in 2017
Aamir Khan, who recently wrapped up shooting for his Christmas 2016 release, Dangal, has already started working on his next film, tentatively titled Secret Superstar.
The film, which marks the directorial debut of his manager, Advait Chandan, went on floors in Mumbai on 31 August, 2016. Reportedly, Aamir Khan has an extended guest appearance in the film and will finish shooting for his part in about 8 to 10 days.
What is Aamir's character in Secret Superstar? Mr Perfectionist will be seen as a music mentor. This is the second time he will reprise the character of a teacher, the first time was in Taare Zameen Par. The film will revolve around the life of a child who aspires to be a singer.
Produced under his banner 'Aamir Khan Production', it will release in 2017.
