Nil Battey Sannata: Swara Bhaskar's new film wins over Amitabh Bachchan & Aamir Khan

She might be one of the most underrated actors in Bollywood but Swara Bhaskar's talent has managed to do the talking in her latest film, Nil Battey Sannata.

The actor, who rose to fame with her girl-next-door character in Kangana Ranaut starrer Tanu Weds Manu, chose a meaningful concept for this film.

Nil Battey Sannata is about a relationship between a mother (who works as a maid) and her teenage daughter. The plot of the film revolves around a parent who wants her child to fulfill those expectations and ambitions that she could not never achieve.

Nil Battey Sannata has been appreciated widely by Swara's industry friends, including megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan. Both took to Twitter to praise the film and wrote:

Directed by Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari's wife Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, it has been co-presented by filmmaker Anand L Rai. Actors Ratna Pathak Shah and Pankaj Tripathi play pivotal roles in the film.
