Aamir Khan who is riding high on the success of Dangal will start shooting for Vijay Krishna Acharya's Thugs of Hindostan from March 2017 produced by YRF.
The movie also starring Amitabh Bachchan is set in the pre-historic era and will unfold the thug culture that existed in our country. The pre-production is currently in progress and the makers are planning to mount huge sets to recreate the era of 1830's in India.
The film will be shot in one go till August/September 2017, following which the team will work on heavy duty post-production that includes use of visual effects. After Thugs of Hindostan, Aamir Khan will start shooting for Rakesh Sharma's biopic.
The film will chronicle the story of first Indian astronaut and it will be directed by ad film maker Mahesh Mathai. The movie is tentatively titled 'Sare Jahan Se Acha' and will go on floors by end of 2017.
Aamir Khan and former Disney UTV head, Sidharth Roy Kapur will jointly produce the film and they are eyeing for a 2019 release.
