Salman Khan to co-produce his upcoming Rajkumar Santoshi film

Salman Khan, who is currently basking in the success of Sultan, is looking to sign interesting projects. While a film with Kabir Khan is already in the line-up, he has also signed a film with Andaz Apna Apna director, Rajkumar Santoshi.

The film, which was earlier touted as a comic caper, is going to be an action-romance film. Santoshi recently spoke to a leading daily and revealed some details about this untitled project.

He explained that he is aware that the audience has certain expectations from a Salman Khan. "Salman has certain expectations from the film since we have done some good movies in the past and are going to work together again after long. I am aware of the audience's anticipation too," said Santoshi.

The filmmaker also revealed that the film is going to be produced by Salman Khan along with his brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri.

The shooting of the film will commence in January next year as the makers are targeting Christmas 2017 for its release.
