Salman Khan's Sultan sets Pakistani Box Office on fire, shatters several records

Apart from India, Salman Khan's Sultan has also set the Pakistani Box-Office on fire as the film has crushed all the records in the country on its first day.

The opening day collections of Salman Khan's Sultan in Pakistan has come in the range of Rs 3.5 crore net, thus being the highest ever for any film that has released in Pakistan. The previous record holder in Pakistan was Hollywood film, Fast and Furious 6 which raked in Rs 2.69 crore on its opening day.

Comparing only Hindi films, Sultan has shattered the opening day record by a huge margin of 60% by surpassing previous record holder Fan that collected Rs 2.15 crore on its opening day. Sultan has also become the first ever film in the history of Pakistani Box-Office that has breached past the Rs 3 crore mark.

Apart from Pakistan, the film has recorded healthy collections at other overseas centres as well; however, we are still awaiting official data from the producers. In other news, the film collected nearly Rs 41 crore on its opening day in India.
