Salman will apparently star in remake of Ode To My Father

Post Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman Khan is going to work again with Ali Abbas Zafar in Bharat. It was reported that Bharat will be the the third and last instalment of Tiger series featuring Salman. Bharat will be produced by Atul Agnihotri and Alvira Agnihotri. Sometime ago it was announced that the actor will be doing a remake of South Korean film Ode To My Father which was one of his second highest grossing films. But Salman will not be part of it. A source says, “After the team worked on the script, it was decided that Salman is suitable for the role of a lead. It is a story of a boy who gets separated from his father and becomes a breadwinner for his family.”

Incidentally Salman’s latest release Tubelight was also about how Salman’s character searches for his missing brother. Ode To My Father is also on the similar line when a young boy is evacuated from war prone region, his father stays back to look for his missing daughter and asks the boy to take of the mother and rest of his siblings. The boy starts working at early age and hopes that his father will meet him. Later he manages to meet his missing sister via television show but fails to trace is father.

Salman is currently working on Tiger Zinda Hai with Katrina Kaif and then he will start shooting for Remo D’ Souza’s ABCD 3.
