Every year Salman Khan worships Ganapati in his Galaxy apartment on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi and welcomes Lord Ganesha with pomp but it seems that the superstar will not carry forward the ritual this year.

It is for the first time that Salman Khan will not celebrate the Hindu festival that reveres god Ganesha at Galaxy apartment.

The 51-years-old actor immensely believes in Ganpati Bappa and is celebrating the festival since last 15 years with his family.

Earlier, there were speculations that just like every year, this year too Salman's family will be celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi festival.

According to a source, the actor will be busy in shooting for his upcoming movie Tiger Zinda Hai with Katrina Kaif and might not be able to wrap it up before the festival.

And now the sources suggest that the actor will celebrate the festival at his sister Arpita Khan Sharma’s house in Bandra.

The Khan family has already apparently begun the preparations for the festival which will start from the 25th of August.

Apart from TZH, Salman is also part of Ramesh Taurani's Race 3 with Daisy Shah and Remo D'souza's dance film with Jacqueline Fernandez.
