Tiger Zinda Hai, Padmavati and the biopic on Sanjay Dutt are all set to release on Christmas 2017, paving the path for one of the biggest clashes of the year.

Box Office clashes have become a norm in Bollywood - with makers scrambling to release their films on holidays and festivals. In the past, there have been instances when all films releasing on same day have managed to emerge victorious at the Box Office.

Here's a look at the three mega releases that will hit the screen during the Christmas 2017 weekend.

Sanjay Dutt biopic

The Rajkumar Hirani-directed biopic - tentatively titled Dutt - stars Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role. The film, which is expected to go on floors in December 2016, will see Ranbir Kapoor sporting three different looks. Dutt will chronicle the lesser-known facets of the star's life.

Padmavati

After the success of Bajirao Mastani, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has teamed up with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone yet again for Padmavati. Shahid Kapoor will essay the character of Padmavati's husband.

The period drama will revolve around Alauddin Khilji's (Ranveer Singh) obsession for Mewar queen Padmavati (Deepika Padukone).

Tiger Zinda Hai

Tiger Zinda Hai, the sequel to the 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, will see Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reprising the roles of spies Tiger and Zoya, respectively. The film will also see Salman and Ali Abbas Zafar working together again after their blockbuster, Sultan.

Tiger Zinda Hai will take off from the point where the first installment ended. Large parts of the action flick will be shot abroad. The film is expected to go on floors in March 2013.

Salman Khan in Tiger Zinda Hai

While Tiger Zinda Hai will prove to be a strong competitor - considering the hit that Ek Tha Tigerwas, the other two films are strong contenders on their own.

It would be interesting to see if any of the three filmmakers opt out of the clash. Which film are you excited for? Tell us in the comments.
