Seen as a major coincidence, both Aamir Khan and Salman Khan enact the role of wrestlers in their next films.

Aamir's Dangal, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is Mahavir Phogat's biopic, where the actor will be seen as a wrestler and a father of two girls. The film is set in Haryana and the first schedule has kick started in Ludhiana.

Salman Khan's next, after Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is Sultan and the actor will also essay the character of a wrestler from Haryana.

However, despite this coincidence, both actors went on record to deny any similarity in the films.

Aamir Khan addressed the media at Ludhiana last evening and said, "The scripts are not similar at all. Salman is a dear friend of mine and he just had a big hit in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. I am looking forward to his Sultan. I am sure it will be a great film."

During Bajrangi Bhaijaan's promotions, Salman had said, "There is no similarity between Dangal and Sultan. I am not a father Sultan, like Aamir is in Dangal. I read the script of Dangal, and it is beautiful."

Directed by UTV, Dangal releases next Christmas.
