Salman Khan who is known to be a godfather to all the budding actors around him has always been very careful to who so ever he launches. Earlier he launched Athiya Shetty, Sooraj Pancholi, his son-in-law Ayush Sharma among others. Recently he is set to launch Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl in his production house film ‘Notebook’.
Zaheer Iqbal who is very close to Salman Khan shared throwback memory on how he was selected. He said that he was performing an act at his sister's wedding where even Salman was also the part of the guest. There he saw him dancing and enacting and immediately gave him an offer. He added Salman, guides very well the first thing he said to Zaheer was, don't overact and maintain the balance between acting and the sounds, effects that add later.
He further said, Salman always uses to want him on OTT (over the top) don’t go over the top and reminded him that he has been trained well and will ace any role given to him. He is happy and feels responsible because Salman trusts him a lot and also supports him in every situation.
