TOIFA 2016: Did Ranveer Singh call Deepika Padukone his 'better half'?

There seems to be no end to the praises that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's chemistry in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani is receiving.

At the recent TOIFA Awards 2016, Ranveer went up on stage to receive the 'Best stylish jodi' award that he won with Deepika and couldn't resist talking about the Piku star. In his acceptance speech, Ranveer said that his Mastani is surely the 'most beautiful woman' by his side.

He was quoted saying:

"This is for best jodi and the better half of the jodi is not here right now but I will convey your wishes to her. Like Kareena earlier said, I have the most beautiful woman by my side. Thank you everyone."

Ranveer and Deepika have swept most of the major Bollywood awards this year.

Currently, Ranveer is busy with YRF's Befikre with Vani Kapoor while Deepika has just returned to India after completing the schedule of her first Hollywood project, XXX: The Return of Xander Cage with Vin Diesel.
