Jagga Jasoos is spectacular; release date will be announced soon: Sidharth Roy Kapur

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's upcoming detective drama, Jagga Jasoos has been in the news ever since it has been announced, mainly for the constant delay in its release date.

However, the head of Disney UTV, Sidharth Roy Kapur, speaking about the Anurag Basu directorial said the final release date of the much-awaited film will be announced very soon.

"We are in the last stage of shooting now, so as soon as we are done with the shoot, the release date will be announced. A few days of shoot is left and we are not releasing in August for sure," said Sidharth.

On being asked if the film is eyeing an early 2017 release, the producer said,

"I don't want to commit to any release date till we finish the shoot but what I can tell you right now is whatever I have seen about the film so far is looking spectacular."

Directed by Anurag Basu, the film is a musical with more than 15 songs in the album. The movie is said to be on the lines of Hollywood series, TinTin.
