Sanjay Dutt biopic: Are Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone playing siblings?

Enough has been said and done about the Sanjay Dutt biopic being made by Rajkumar Hirani. While Ranbir Kapoor has been confirmed to play Sanjay Dutt's character in the film, there's still a lot of speculation about the female leads.

Recently, Kangana Ranaut denied that she has been approached for the film and the only project she is currently concentrating on is Vishal Bharadwaj's Rangoon. This is what she told MissMalini:

I don't want to be disrespectful to Raju sir, but the truth is I have not been been approached for this film. I am busy on Rangoon at the moment.

Now, actors Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor are rumoured to be a part of the film. According to the latest industry buzz, it's either Deepika or Kareena who will be seen essaying the role of Priya Dutt, Sanjay Dutt's sister in the film.

Both the choices seem interesting. If Kareena works in the film, it'll be great to see the real life brother-sister jodi playing the same on screen as well. However, if the role falls in Deepika's kitty, it will provide an additional buzz to the film, considering Deepika and Ranbir have always been romantically associated both on and off screen.
