Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Box Office: Ranbir Kapoor's film rules over extended weekend!
Ranbir Kapoor - Anushka Sharma's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil witnessed a jump in collections on Monday by raking in Rs 17.75crore, taking the extended weekend total to Rs 53 crore.
Given its good run at the metros during the pre-Diwali weekend, the jump in collections on Monday was limited; however the film recorded a strong trend in the opening four days. It fared the best at tier one cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bengaluru and Hyderabad to name a few.
Even the mass circuits were responsive on Monday. However, the film faced major competition from Shivaay which came into full force after the pre-Diwali lull.
Day Wise Box Office:
- Friday: Rs 13.30 crore
- Saturday: Rs 13.10 crore (2% drop)
- Sunday: Rs 9.20 crore (40% drop)
- Monday: Rs 17.75 crore (20% growth)
- Total: Rs 53.35 crore
Although Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is a safe venture for everyone concerned due to the humongous non-theatrical revenue, it is essential for the film to rake in over Rs 100 crore to emerge a clean hit!
A Rs 10 crore plus Tuesday will ensure a steady run for the film at the Box Office. The audience word of mouth will come into picture from now on.
