Phantom’s next film Trapped, starring Rajkummar Rao, and directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, releases this Friday in theaters worldwide.

The film, arguably the first Survival Thriller on Indian screens is a non-stop nail-biting story of its lead character Shaurya, who gets stuck in a non-occupied building in Mumbai. The way the narrative is designed and shot, it gives the audience a never before thrilling experience of watching a story with a huge high: a true story of a survivor!

To maintain the thrilling experience of the story intact, Phantom Films requested their exhibition partners to release the film without any interval. And after seeing the film, the exhibitors agrees that Trapped should be released without any interval…so the thrill never stops!

The excited Director, Vikramaditya Motwane said, “Trapped is the story of a guy stuck in an apartment with no food, no water and no electricity, and of his survival based on his primal instincts. The no-interval viewing allows the viewer to feel the character’s emotion and gives them a never before thrilling experience. I am extremely happy and thankful to all our exhibition partners for screening the film in this seamless way”.

Alok Tandon, CEO of INOX chain of multiplexes, adds, “INOX is happy to partner with Phantom Films, for their continuous effort in introducing new genre of films to the Indian audience.”

Devang Sampat, Director – Strategic Initiatives, Cinepolis India Pvt Ltd. said, “Cinépolis won’t let you move in Trapped, the no-interval thriller!  Cinepolis is happy to showcase the film in one go - without a break keeping the essence and sensibilities of the film in mind.”

Reliance Entertainment presents 'Trapped,' a Phantom Production and directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, slated to release on 17th March, 2017.
