Wasn't offered a role in Aamir Khan's PK: Fawad Khan

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan made news recently when he said that he missed out on working with Aamir Khan in PK owing to his commitment with the upcoming Rishi Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt-starrer Kapoor and Sons.

However, the actor, who is currently in Delhi for the promotions of Kapoor and Sons, has said that he was misquoted and that he had never been offered a role in the Rajkumar Hirani film, that also starred Anushka Sharma.

While news reports claimed that Fawad was initially considered for the role that was played by Sushant Singh Rajput, he cleared the air. He said:

"Let me clear this. I was never offered PK. My statement was misconstrued."

In Kapoor and Sons, Fawad Khan will be seen essaying the character of Sidharth Malhotra's brother. The much anticipated film, directed by Shakun Batra, releases on 18 March 2016.
