Raees shooting: Shah Rukh Khan's car attacked in Gujarat
Unidentified assailants pelted stones actor Shah Rukh Khan's car, parked at Ashram road, at 5am on 14 February, CCTV footage revealed.
Khan is in Ahmedabad for the shooting of his film Raees, which also stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. The actor was not in the car during the attack, ANI reported. No official comments have been issued on the incident.
Earlier, on 3 February, a group of workers of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad halted the shooting of the film in Bhuj, demanding that the district authorities revoke the shooting rights.
Khan's last release, Dilwale, faced the backlash of the actor's comments on intolerance in the country.
The actor will reportedly be essaying the role of a bootlegger in Raees. The team is set to wrap up shooting for the film, which is scheduled to release on Eid 2016.
