Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam starrer Sanam Re to release on 2,000 screens

Director Divya Khosla Kumar's Sanam Re, starring Yami Gautam, Pulkit Samrat and Urvashi Rautela will be released on around 2000 screens in India.

The film, which according to the director is not a love triangle but a story about all the characters finding true love, will clash with Abhishek Kapoor's Fitoor which is a cinematic adaptation of Great Expectations. The two films are seeking to cash in on Valentine's Day - which is bound to translate into a hike in weekend collections after the films open to audiences on 12 February.

The distributors have targeted the youth-centric areas as the film is getting a wide release in the metros. The music of Sanam Re has been well received. Sanam Re will also benefit from the rumours about Yami Gautam and Pulkit Samrat's alleged relationship. According to reports, the relationship rumours are part of a marketing strategy by the team of the film.

The film is certified U - Universal Only by the Censor Board. It was cleared with no cuts. The runtime of the film has been set at 2 hours, 120 minutes. The film has been budgeted with a production cost of Rs 15 crore.
