Padmavati not to miss the release date

The makers refute rumours that the film has been delayed

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati has been in news for a long time. Bhansali has been planning to release the film on November 17 this year, however he is still shooting for crucial parts of the film and therefore it was said that the film might get pushed ahead. A source says, “ Deepika Padukone is about to wrap up her portion this month,however Shahid Kapoor who plays her husband and Ranveer Singh who is essaying Alauddin Khilji in the film have to shoot for some major scenes. So there was a possibility that the makers will have to release it little later.”

However the production house Viacom 18 has issued a statement that the film is going to release on decided date November 17 and has not been pushed ahead.

Post completing the film the director will also have to finish the post production work and as per the trend they will have to begin promotions within the next two months.
