Official: Ajay Devgn's edgy avatar in Luv Ranjan's next urban romantic comedy!

Ajay Devgn, who was last seen in Shivaay, has signed Luv Ranjan's upcoming film which is an urban romantic comedy.

The yet to be titled film is a quirky take on modern day relationships and Devgn's character will be in a space that the makers expect to resonate with the youth..

Luv Rajan plans to present Ajay in a never seen before avatar. In an official statement, the producer said, "The way I see it, it's the side of Ajay that comes most naturally to him. His uber-cool personality in real life has seldom been explored. There is a subtlety in his humour that blends perfectly with my writing."

The story is written by Luv Ranjan whereas it would mark the directorial debut of editor, Akiv Ali known who's known for his editing skills in films like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Barfi!, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai and Agneepath.
