Month of sequels: Kahaani 2, Rock On 2, Tum Bin 2 to release in November 2016

Sujoy Ghosh has announced the release date of the Vidya Balan-Arjun Rampal's Kahaani 2, which is currently being shot at Kolkata.

In an official statement, the makers revealed that the sequel to the hugely-popular 2012 film, Kahaani, will hit the big screen on 25 November.

The shooting of the film is expected to be wrapped up by end-June, following which the team will work on the post-production.

Details about the plot and story have been kept under wraps. However, it would be interesting to see if the film manages to live up to the high expectations of the original thriller, which garnered critical and commercial acclaim.

Interestingly, two more sequels are slated to hit the silver screen this November.

Rock On 2 is set to release on 11 November, while Tum Bin 2 has been confirmed for an 18 November release.

With Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil set to release on 30 October 2016 - ie Diwali - all the weekends for November have been booked for the big Bollywood releases.
