Mohenjo Daro television ratings: Viewers pick Hrithik Roshan film over Shah Rukh Khan's Fan

Hrithik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro may have tanked at the Box Office, but managed to grab eyeballs upon its world television premiere on Star Gold and Star Gold HD.

The film garnered a TVT rating of 49,43,000 - faring better than the likes of Fan, Airlift and Neerja on the small screen. Mohenjo Daro was the most-watched film of the week followed by Aamir Khan's PK.

  • Mohenjo Daro (Premiere): 49,43,000
  • PK: 35,62,000
  • Jil: 34,30,000
  • PRDP: 31,19,000
  • Dishoom: 30,89,000

Mohenjo Daro is ranked seventh in terms of Bollywood films that premiered in 2016.

  • Housefull 3: 78,16,000
  • Baaghi: 69,88,000
  • Dilwale: 67,61,000
  • Sanam Re: 56,66,000

Salman Khan's Sultan and Akshay Kumar's Rustom premiered on 15 and 16 October respectively and the television ratings of both films will be announced on 27 October 2016. While Sultan is sure to be the biggest premiere in terms of film releases in 2016, it would be interesting to see Rustom's position on this list.
