Zubaan trailer: Vicky Kaushal and Sarah Jane Dias star in this promising musical drama

After winning over audiences with his Bollywood acting debut, Masaan, Vicky Kaushal will be seen next in Mozez Singh's Zubaan.

The drama, which also stars Sarah Jane Dias, will chronicle the story of a young man who falls in love with the world of music and sets sail on an inspiring journey of music and love.

During the official launch of the trailer, Vicky made an interesting revealation. He said he had shot for Zubaan way before he started working on Masaan.

On the director of Zubaan - Mozez Singh

Vicky credited the Zubaan director with having given him a break in the industry.

"Mozez has been that person who showed faith in me when I was struggling, when I was giving auditions day in, day out, and when I was clueless where I was heading or what was happening in my life".

"I would like to thank him from the bottom of my heart for giving me this opportunity, for believing in me for a character like Dilsher.

On his character in Zubaan, Dilsher

Vicky revealed that he would be seen essaying a complicated character in Zubaan.

"Dilsher is a conflicted character who's trying to rediscover his abandoned roots, his abandoned fate and rediscover himself through music. It's been a wonderful experience."

"I enjoyed playing a sardar. I wore the turban and a beard. I love the attitude that sardars have. Your walking style automatically changes.

Sarah will essay the role of a pop singer who introduces Vicky to his musical side.

Zubaan has all the makings of a feel-good film, and considering that it comes from the kitty of the makers of films like Masaan and The Lunchbox, we can't help but be excited to watch it on the big screen.

Zubaan is set to be released on 4 March 2016.
