Kerala Flood 2018: Jaaved Jaaferi hails Salman Khan for donating 12 crores; later give a clarification on the tweet
What Kerala is going through these days is really something horrible and Keralaites are facing trouble from the disaster of the flood that has not happened in the last 90 years. Relief operations are going on and even the government made several plans to rescue and save Kerala people.
Bollywood as well came in support of the state and Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, have donated generously to do their bit. Even the south region actors like Rajinikanth, Ram Charan Teja and Illayathalapathy Vijay have donated a bit to the Kerala flood victims.
Recently there were the reports that Bhaijaan of Bollywood, Salman Khan also donated 12 crores to the relief fund. This report went viral and his fans started praising this move of the superstar. Even co-actor Javed Jaaferi praised the actor by his tweet, “Heard @BeingSalmanKhan donated ₹12cr for Kerala.. this man is something else. Kitnon ki duaein leke chal rahi hain isey. God Bless you bro. Love and #Respect.”

However, after a while, he deleted his previous and tweet and did another tweet in which he gave a clarification that why he deleted that tweet. He said he is not sure that even Salman has done that or not. In the new tweet, Javed Jaaferi tweeted, “I had tweeted that I had ‘heard’ about @BeingSalmanKhan ‘s bcontribution. Because it was a very strong possibility given his track record, I put forward my thoughts and admiration. Taking the tweet off till I can confirm it.”

Now, this is not really Javed Jaaferi's mistake because Salman Khan is a brand in Bollywood and we have heard about his charities in different social causes. So one can easily believe that Salman has done something for Kerala.
