Fitoor Box Office: Jump in collections on Day 2 cannot save the Aditya Roy Kapoor, Katrina Kaif film

The Aditya Roy Kapoor, Katrina Kaif love saga, Fitoor, witnessed an upward biz in collections on the second day as it raked in around Rs 4.25 crore.

The collections jumped by around 20 per cent. However, this seems to have done no good to the film as the first day collection sealed its fate at the Box Office. The film might witness a further jump in the same range on Sunday but might find difficult to sustain the trend from Monday on, since the initial word of mouth is not so positive.

Day wise Fitoor Box Office collection:

  • Friday (12 February): Rs 3.61 crore
  • Saturday (13 February): Rs 4.25 crore
  • Total: Rs 7.86 crore

The budget of film is on higher side and recovery seems impossible here on even after taking in account revenue from other sources like satellite rights, home video rights etc.

Fitoor is the fifth consecutive flop, or underperformer, from the UTV production house after Phantom, Katti Batti, Tamasha and Saala Khadoos failed to impress audiences.
