Kareena Kapoor Khan may still be a part of Rohit Shetty's Golmaal 4!

Kareena Kapoor will start shooting for her next film, Veere Di Wedding, with Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania by the end of September.

The actress is currently taking a break and spending quality time with her family ahead of her delivery.

Along with the Rhea Kapoor directorial, Kareena was also expected to start work on Rohit Shetty's Golmaal 4. However, the makers have confirmed that the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actress will not be a part of the fourth installment of the hit comic franchise.

Like Kareena's fans, Golmaal director Rohit Shetty is also upset about this development. In a recent media interaction, Rohit opened up about the casting of Golmaal 4. He revealed that the makers had not approached either Deepika Padukone or Alia Bhatt for the film - contrary to previous reports. He also said that he was hoping to sign Kareena on for the film but lamented that things did not go as planned. He said:

"It would have been easy to call her and tell her to do the film. She would have said, 'Let's do it'. But I can't do that, I will miss her for sure."

"But let's see we will do a song or something with her."

Don't worry, Kareena fans! She may still be a part of Golmaal 4, afterall!
