The actress had to be hospitalised as she suffered a wound on her forehead during the shoot of the film.

Kangana met with an accident on the sets while doing a sword fighting scene. A cut in the forehead led to her having to get 15 stitches done. The actress was planning to resume shooting from Saturday, but the latest news is that she chose to resume work earlier.

Her forehead apparently is still swollen, but the actress being the professional that she is, already shot a horse riding scene for the climax, yesterday. The climax apparently is being shot with more than 500 actors.

Being directed by Krish and co-produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain and co-produced by Nishant Pitti, Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi also stars TV actress Ankita Lokhande and Atul Kulkarni in a pivotal role. The film is slated to release on April 27, 2018.
