Kangana Ranaut won't do Rani Laxmibai

Kangana may not be part of Ketan Mehta’s film

Kangana Ranaut has said to have been keen to do Ketan Mehta’s Rani Laxmibai. The duo even met and discussed the project couple of times and there were many reports that she has been preparing for it. However according to the latest buzz, Kangana has apparently backed out of the film. A source says, “ Kangana was interested in playing this powerful role of a Queen of Jhansi. But now she is apparently not in favour of doing it, she is not showing too much of interest in the project so makers are not sure whether she will do it or not.”

It is said that director Ketan and Kangana had some differences. A source says, “Kangana apparently heard the script and said to have had some issues. She spoke to Ketan about it. But the exact reason of her backing out of the film is yet not clear.”

Kangana’s last film Rangoon did not do well at box office, but her next film Simran, directed by Hansal Mehta has managed to create good buzz.
