Kalank actress Alia Bhatt opens on suffering from anxiety, says 'sometimes, I feel like crying for no reason'

Alia Bhatt is really on top of her time and with back to back hits in Raazi and Gully Boy, the actress is now looking for her most awaited projects like Kalank, Brahmastra, Takht, RRR, and Sadak 2. There will be no doubt to say that currently, she is having the most intrigued projects in her bag. Even in her personal life she openly has accepted that she is dating Ranbir Kapoor and they are now a most adorable couple.

Now when one hand everything is going good then there is a part of Alia Bhatt's life when is suffering from anxiety. Recently in interaction with Filmfare, Alia Bhatt has been quoted saying, "I haven’t been depressed but I’ve had bouts of anxiety. It comes and goes. It’s been happening quite a bit since the past five to six months. It’s not like an anxiety attack but I just feel low."

 

Alia Bhatt also said that it is her sister Shaheen Bhatt's suffer from depression and her book has helped her to know about mental health. She says that now she allows herself to feel all the emotions, no matter how the feelings are. "Thankfully, I’m aware of it because of my sister. She’s fought depression. I’ve read her book. No matter how bad it is, I just let myself feel it."

Alia revealed that sometimes she feels like crying for no reason. "Then it passes. Initially, I’d be a little confused. I’d constantly give reasons that it’s because of work or maybe I’m tired or haven’t been able to meet anyone... The kind of personality I have, I become a little on the edge," she added.

Let us tell you that Alia Bhatt is not the first person in the film industry who has gone through depressions. Earlier also celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, Ileana D'Cruz and others have shared about their mental health problems.
