Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan interacted with the media at an event today on the occasion of Eid. At the press conference, the superstar revealed that the clash between Raees and Kaabil on the Republic Day weekend might be averted as the producers of both the films are in talks.
While Raees was initially slated to clash with Sultan, the producers postponed it to 26 January 2017 release slot to get a solo release. However, that release date was also blocked by Rakesh Roshan for his next film. Speaking about the clash, SRK said:
"Ritesh, Farhan and I have spoken to Hrithik about the clash about a month back. We will soon do some adjustment about the release date and I think my producers will meet Rakesh Roshan by 10 or 11 July to take the final call."
Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Raees also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mahira Khan in lead.
