Following the success of Rustom, Akshay Kumar is now busy shooting for Subhash Kapoor's Jolly LLB 2, a sequel to the 2013 sleeper hit, Jolly LLB.

In the film, the actor will essay the character of a lawyer for the first time in his career. In Rustom, the Khiladi was seen fighting his own case in court. In an interview following Rustom's success, on being asked to speak about his character sketch in Jolly LLB 2, Akshay Kumar said,

"I did not play a lawyer in Rustom. My character was not saying words like sustain or other heavy duty terms that a lawyer uses. I played a naval officer fighting his own case. But in Jolly LLB 2, I play a completely different character. It will have a comic touch, however that would be a subtle one."

The movie, produced by Fox Star Studios will hit the big screen on 10 February, 2016. It also stars Anu Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla and Huma Qureshi in pivotal roles.
