John Abraham’s Parmanu goes on floor

John and Diana Penty started shooting for the film in Delhi today.

KriArj Entertainment and JA Entertainment first venture Parmanu -The Story of Pokhran went on floor today. The film stars John Abraham and Diana Penty in the lead, and is based on the nuclear test conducted at Pokhran in 1998.

Directed by Abhishek Sharma who has previously directed Tere Bin Laden series, Parmanu -The Story of Pokhran is estimated to be shot till the month of August thereby go for post-production phase. The film is to be majorly shot in real locations in places like Delhi, Jaisalmer and Pokhran.

Producer Prerna Arora said, “We are starting with our first schedule from today with John in the capital city.  Since the script is a real life based story, we have chosen real locations in order to do justice to the film.  We are aiming to wrap up the shoot by August 12th and are looking for a December release. 'Parmanu -The Story of Pokhran' is KriArj Entertainment’s first project with JA Entertainment and we are quite excited to kick start this journey together. Pokhran is a very sensitive film, close to all our hearts; it’s a tribute to all those people who have served selflessly for our nation.”
