Is Sonam upset for not bagging an award?

Rumours suggest that the actress apparently is not happy about her fellow actress winning the best actress award

Sonam Kapoor earned lot of appreciation for her portrayal of the title role of the film, Neerja earlier this year. However, at the first award event the season, the actress did not win any award and it looks like it has not gone down well with her. A source says, "During the awards show, Sonam did not show any displeasure of not getting an award. She looked fine with the fact that Alia Bhatt won the honour in best actress category for Udta Punjab. But later at one of the parties, apparently she was overheard talking about how it was not fair of the organisers to ignore deserving candidates."

While Sonam didn't make her being upset public, the producer of the film, Atul Kasbekar and good friend Swara Bhaskar were quite open about their displeasure

Even though Swara herself won an award, she magnanimously tweeted, ""Not 2 take away frm Swara or Alia's brilliant performances, but not havng Sonam on winners list does shock us! Absolutely agree tht @sonamakapoor deserves every award 4 #Neerja She carried the film on her shoulders. Gr8 performance superb film! 2/2 (sic)

Kasbekar tweeted, "#Neerja is d highest grossing female lead film at Indian cinema BO so far But not good enough for a @stardust 'film of the yr' nomination... Someone did all the math Tho #Neerja still not good enough for a nomination at @stardust awards reader's choice 'film of the year'"(sic)
