Salman Khan and Kabir Khan are currently working on their third project - after the successful Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

The film, which will be produced under the banner of Salman Khan Films, is slated to be released on Eid 2017. The untitled project is set to go on floors in Ladakh in July, following the release of Salman's Haryanvi wrestling drama, Sultan.

According to reports, the film will chronicle a journey that Salman Khan's character will undertake from India to China. It has also been reported that a leading production house from China is expected to co-produce the film with Salman Khan. What's more, the film is likely to star a leading actress from China.

However, the makers have kept the plot and all the details of the project under wraps so far as the Kabir Khan film is still in pre-production stage. The COO of Salman Khan films exclusively confirmed to Catch that the lead actress of the film will be announced by June 2016.

"Firstly, this is not a part of Indo-China treaty. Yes, we are looking to rope in Chinese actors for the film, but I can’t divulge into further details," the COO said.

It will be interesting to see if Kabir Khan and Salman Khan manage to recreate the magic of Bajrangi Bhaijaan with this project
