Irrfan Khan's on screen daughter Radhika Madan confirms Kareena Kapoor Khan in Angrezi Medium
Recently we reported that Irrfan Khan is back to shoot after taking treatment in London for his prolonged illness. The actor started the shooting of his next film Angrezi Medium, the sequel to his 2017 released film Hindi Medium. Irrfan started the shooting in Udaipur while his co-star Radhika Madan also joined him.
Radhika Madan who made her Bollywood debut with Pataakha has roped to play Irrfan Khan's daughter in the film. The actress shared the still from the sets of the film on Instagram and gave a caption, "As excited as the man behind! So so so grateful for this new journey," The interesting thing is that she tagged Irrfan Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Dinesh Vijan in the post.
Earlier there were the rumours that Kareena Kapoor may be a part of Angrezi Medium but now it looks like that Radhika has just confirmed it. Reports are that Kareena may play Irrfan's wife but it doesn't look like that Kareena will agree to play Radhika's mother. So other report suggests that she may be seen in the role of a cop who knows frequent English.
The film is being directed by Homi Adjania and produced under the banner of Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films. Hindi Medium was directed by Saket Chaudhary but this time Homi has grabbed the project. Producer Dinesh Vijan while talking about the film said, "Her father’s background and his language handicap is a major hindrance and adds to the chaos and laughs."
