Indore stone-pelting incident: Anushka Sharma urges people to let doctors do their job

Bollywood’s gorgeous actress Anushka Sharma is busy spreading awareness about the coronavirus. Even after PM Modi announced the lockdown the actor and her husband Virat Kohli posted a video on their social media handle to urge people to stay at home.

Recently, the actress once again asked the citizens to cooperate with the healthcare worker after the Indore stone-pelting incident hit the internet. In the video, we can see the locals throwing a stone at a health department team mercilessly. On seeing this Anushka immediately took to her Instagram story to request people to educate one’self about the dangers of resorting to such actions.

Posting the pic of the incident on her Insta story she wrote, “Please let healthcare workers do their jobs – which is to save YOU! They are putting their own lives at stake for YOU!”

 

Meanwhile, those who came in late then let us tell you a video is getting viral on the internet from Indore. As per reports, a health department team consisted of 5 people including 3 doctors was on a visit to locate persons reportedly infected with the Coronavirus in Tat Patti Bakhal area. As soon as they reached the area locals started pelting stones on them. Though reports earlier suggested that 2 women doctors suffered injuries, however, police rubbished the claims saying no one was hurt in the incident.
