Impressed with Sara Ali Khan's performance, Sharmila Tagore did something for Amrita Singh that is like a reunion for family
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan has managed to grab all the attention and audience's praise over her performance in debut film Kedarnath. She not just even got appreciation from critics and audience but also from family, a special one from her Dadi Sharmila Tagore.
In a recent interview, Sara Ali Khan told that her grandmother moved by her performance and in fact, she was so impressed that she messaged Amrita Singh after a long 14 years gap.
"Dadi is extremely proud. She is getting a lot of messages from people and she messaged mom which was a big one for me. I think dadi messaging mom, after you know... life, that we have, that was really something. That's amazing. If as a character, you can bring audiences together and as an individual you can bring your family together for 30 seconds also, that's something," Sara Ali Khan told.
Sara Ali Khan who is busy in the promotions of her next film Simmba starring alongside Ranveer Singh is also enjoying the success of her debut film. Kedarnath minted more than 50 crores from the box office at domestic and it is something that is unexpected.
