Actor Chunky Pandey has revealed that Housefull 3 is rather different from its predecessors in the hit comedy franchise.
"For the first two it was Sajid Khan. And here there is Sajid-Farhad. Yes, there is a difference. Actually I don't even know the D of direction. But both are very different. Sajid Khan makes the film on set, and Sajid-Farhad bhai basically do a lot of homework and planning. And behind them there is the hand of Sajid Nadiadwala (producer), which is the biggest hand," Chunky said.
The actor was speaking on the sets of TV show The Kapil Sharma Show, where the Housefull 3 team will promote the film this weekend.
Chunky, along with Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Boman Irani have been a part of all three installments of the Housefull franchise.
His catchphrase, "I'm joking" has emerged to be one of the best remembered lines of the franchise - with the line being featured in the trailer of the new film as well.
"It is the third edition of Housefull, I was there in the first and second, thank god! I'm in the third part. With every installment, Housefull is becoming bigger and the house becomes bigger; and this one is a laughter riot," he said.
The film will see Chunky play a double role - of characters named Aakhri Pasta and Aakhri Aastha. "There are two Chunkys in this. I'm playing the role of a cook, and there is a twin brother of mine, who is roaming around like an astrologer in London," the actor said.
