Sooraj Pancholi replaces Tiger Shroff in Sajid Nadiadwala's Heer Ranjha

Although the highly anticipated remake of Hero failed to make a mark at the box office, the film's lead actors, Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, are now being considered for many other projects.

Sooraj Pancholi had previously confirmed that he was in talks with Remo D'Souza for a film about two brothers where Pancholi would play the younger sibling to Ajay Degn.

Now we hear that Pancholi is in talks with Salman Khan's close friend Sajid Nadiadwala for a film. According to reports, Pancholi will be seen as a spy in Nadiadwala's next production, Heer Ranjha.

Heer Ranjha has been in news for a while now. Nadiadwala had initially planned to make the film with Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead. When that failed to work out, he later announced that Tiger Shroff would play the lead role. However, with Shroff and Nadiadwala working on another film Baaghi, Pancholi was given the opportunity to work under under the production house instead.

The official announcement about the film is expected very soon.
